BUFFALO, NY •A small group continued their attack gay rights ally Andres Garcia on Wednesday March 5 at a city hall meeting of the commission that hired Garcia.
The City of Buffalo Commission on Citizensí Rights and Community Relations meeting heard from many of the same speakers who had made anti-gay bias allegations last week at a meeting of the Common Council Legislation Committee.
The members of the commission heard speakers allege Mr. Garcia's politically incorrect language and humor. The commission acknowledged that it had heard from some gay and lesbian people who supported the commissions decision to hire Mr. Garcia.
Mr. Garcia has never been found to be guilty of anti-gay bias or discrimination by any level of government.
Neither Mr. Garcia or his attorney, Judge Joseph Mattina were invited to attend the meeting.•Tim Moran
